Here, at the FGF, the discerning bead weaver will find the widest range of Czech and Japanese seed beads in the Western Cape as well as threads, findings and accessories. When I started beading in 2004, there was very little on offer for bead weavers as most bead stores concentrated on bead stringing. I became frustrated when I could not find the materials called for in beading patterns and so started importing my own.
Our beading classes flourished and the demand for quality beads, threads and findings grew beyond all expectation. Soon, what started as a hobby, had turned into a full time occupation. At this point I should issue a warning – Beading is Addictive.
